Read the mechanismShares of Vault fees. Buys and sells pay 3.3%; about 3% reaches the Vault. Burns target a 30-minute cadence, subject to collected fees and swap checks.
Every trade pays 3.3%: a 2.3% creator tax plus Pons’s 1% platform fee, of which 0.7% is routed to the Vault. About 3% of every trade funds the Vault, which pays $PONS to holders.
The Sponge shows the $PONS set aside for holders, 70% of every Vault split.
The illustrated allocation follows each wallet’s eligible reward share.
Example complete. 3,070 $PONS allocated across 1,204 sample holders. The illustration now repeats.
A 1% eligible reward share receives 1% of the $PONS allocation in this example. Payouts go automatically, every 2 hours, to wallets holding at least 10,000 $SPON on average (time-weighted) between rounds.

Based on the $PONS actually paid over the last 24 hours of rounds. It opens once a day of payout lists is available.
Past payouts projected forward, not a forecast. It assumes you hold for full rounds and that volume, the $PONS price and the $SPON price all stay where they are. They won’t. Rewards are paid in $PONS, so the APR moves with both prices.
An illustration from the latest published payout list. It opens once a round has been paid.
Illustration only. It recalculates one past round as if this bag had been held in your own wallet for the entire window, on top of the wallets that were actually listed. It is not a forecast: each round’s pot depends entirely on trading fees and can be zero.
You can choose to swap your $PONS rewards for more $SPON. This is an optional trade, made in your own wallet on Uniswap, where $SPON now trades in its own pool.

$SPON is the token you hold. $PONS is the reward asset.
No. $PONS rewards arrive automatically every 2 hours to eligible wallets. Anyone can trigger the payout of a published round, so a bot outage delays nothing permanently.
Every trade on the $SPON / ETH pair pays 3.3%: a 2.3% creator tax that goes to the Vault, plus Pons’s 1% platform fee, of which 0.7% is also routed to the Vault. The Vault swaps the 70% holder share to $PONS and pays it out.
Rewards use your time-weighted average balance between rounds, so selling lowers that average and your next payout. You need to average at least 10,000 $SPON to be eligible.
Yes. Approximately 54.43 million $SPON from the dev wallet—5.44% of the original 1 billion supply—is locked through Sablier until 22 March 2027. Both locks are non-cancelable. Verify the amounts and unlock times on Sablier stream #490 ↗ and Sablier stream #489 ↗.
No. Nothing on our side ever sells $SPON. On the Pons bonding curve, fees on both buys and sells are taken in ETH, so the Vault only ever receives ETH. After graduation, Pons takes the fee in the output currency of each trade: sells leave the fee in ETH, buys leave it in $SPON. Those $SPON fees are converted to ETH by Pons itself, inside the pool, with a hard 3% price-impact cap per conversion; that is Pons's own mechanism for every coin on the platform. Our Vault has no code path that can sell $SPON. It only buys $SPON to burn it, and the only thing it can do with any stray $SPON is burn it. The bot adds buy pressure only. The "bot dumps the full clip" problem seen on transfer-tax coins, where the tax piles up in the coin and a bot sells it all at once, cannot happen here.
